We're a team of passionate Australian gamers, journalists, and esports enthusiasts on a mission to build the best gaming community in the country.
Atomic Lobby was founded in 2014 by a group of university friends in Sydney who were frustrated by the lack of locally-focused gaming coverage. International outlets rarely accounted for Australian server conditions, local release schedules, or the unique culture of the ANZ gaming scene.
What started as a small blog with a handful of readers has grown into Australia's most-trusted independent gaming platform, with over 85,000 registered community members, a dedicated editorial team of twelve, and on-the-ground presence at every major esports event across the country.
We believe gaming is one of Australia's most vibrant cultural industries — and it deserves coverage that reflects that. Our reviews are never influenced by publisher relationships, our tournament coverage is always independent, and our community is always the priority.
Get in TouchThree principles guide everything we do at Atomic Lobby — from how we write reviews to how we engage with our community.
We disclose every relationship we have with publishers and developers. If we received a review copy, we say so. If we attended a press event, we say so. Our readers deserve to know the full picture.
Every review considers the Australian experience — local server performance, regional content differences, and community sentiment. We write for Australians, not a global audience.
Our readers shape what we cover. We actively solicit community feedback, run reader polls for game of the year, and feature community-written content in our monthly spotlight series.
Our editorial team brings together decades of combined gaming experience and professional journalism to deliver coverage you can trust.
